SCAIR Xmas Dinner for Soaring Eagles

By Roy Cook

Soaring Eagles Tuesday evening, December 8, 2009, was decorated in the Holiday spirit with Red tablecloths and foil trees as table centerpieces. The ‘snow’ was sparkles and assorted candy to tempt the eye and quick fingers.

The SCAIR sponsored: tamale and ham with potluck fried chicken and mixed vegetables were rounded out by some very tasty potato salad and Cole slaw dinner. Everyone is fed after SCAIR Senior advisor Randy Edmonds blessing. Debbie and the Razo family prepared the dinner. Holiday grins and smiles are sustained throughout the evening.

SCAIR American Indian dance instructor, Chuck Cadotte announced that many had sore feet but happy hearts from the Chula Vista night parade.

There are some very fine songs sung by the two drums tonight.
image0092It bears repeating, there is a fine time for all gathered these evenings. It will continue to be all-good as long as we keep our focus on the prize, the Indian children. There is something good for all ages. Maybe we will see you and your family next year in January 2010. Until then may the Creator bless you and your family with health, warmth and good tidings for all.
